Autumn Red Lip- Face of the day

Hello everyone! I thought I'd do a little post on this make-up look as I think it looks gorgeous on all skin tones, its also very flattering and you can dull I down for the day time.
I thought adding some sprinkle on my lips would be cool for the photos but it didn't turn out how I expected...I don't wear sprinkles out!

Please excuse the bright green top! I was ill when doing this look!

This is an over view of the make-up I used in the look.
I tried to make a 'high street make-up look' as I thought that it would be easier and cheaper to create but you can swap some of the things if you want!

Face:
Maybelline fit me foundation in 120
Collection 2000 concealer in medium (on blemishes and under eyes)
MUA (Make up Academy) cream blusher in Dolly
Hoola by benefit bronzer
Rimmel stay matte translucent powder

Eyes:
Maybelline 24Hour Colour tattoos - In the first images I used the 'Pink Gold' colour as a base and in the second I used 'On and on bronze'
for the first image I used the Avon 'seashell' pallet to contour and highlight my eye, in the second image I used Hoola by benefits bronzer to contour my eye and the lighter shade in the Avon pallet to highlight.
Maybelline Gel eyeliner in brown
Avory Slain - This is a south African brand (as I am from there) but any brown powder will do!
Mayblline the Falsies mascara in black drama.

Lips:
I first used a lip balm: this Malibu one I have been testing in the flavour mint! it smells soo nice and its SPF not that you really nee that now but hey ho!
I then used another Avory Slain product : Lipstick - a dark or deep red will do!
I then used the bright blue colour of eye shadow from the Rimmel trio to ombre my lips.

Tools:
I used the Eco Tools 'Flawless finish' brushes : The Blending foundation, Blending Concealer, flat concealer(for eye shadow) and Powder brushes.
I then used the brush that can with the eyeliner to line my eyes with.
I then just used a blending brush and my fingers to blend out any hash edges!

So that was my first ever Face of the day! Please do let me know if you liked this post and want to see it again!
See you all soon!

Beauty things i suck at...-Tag

Hello everyone, I'm sorry its been two weeks! I am going to catch up promise;) but anyway I have a tag for you all, because I realised that you guys really loved it. Please leave me a comment telling me what you prefer.
So I got tagged by the lovely Amelie from ' Allthingsthatglitterandbeauty ' blog. Its amazing and I loved her answers so I decided to do a little blog for you all!

1. Nail Polish: Nobody will understand my hate for nail polish until you actually watch me put it on, I absolutely love how nail polish looks on nails and how much it can impact a outfit, but doing them is just a pain in the neck! I will always snag them and bump them and they always look horrible because I never have the time to just sit there and wait for them to dry.-Although I have really been loving 'chop-sticking-to-my-story' from OPI lately.

2. Plucking my eyebrows: I generally just cant pluck my own eyebrows, they never look even when I do. I tend to get them done and just pluck any stray hairs that grow back. But I cant pluck my eyebrows, which is kind of annoying as it costs me money I could be spending on lipstick!

3.Hair: My hair never ever goes the way I want it to and it annoys me a lot, I am just generally a very lazy person but when I try put the effort in it tends to still look like it took me two seconds. I am doing a 'Hair and Beauty' course in school, and I can do other peoples hair fine, its just my own- something I cant do- unfortunately. I really want to do my hair all pretty! Comment me tips please :).

There is just a few things I suck at! If I went into detail this would be a really long post! I hope you all enjoyed it, I just wanted to add that I'm thinking of setting up my YouTube channel, and my first post could be something similar to this. Can you leave me a comment telling me if you would watch it? Wow I am so sorry about the ranting, rambling post but I hope you enjoyed it! :)

    The Autumn Tag

So its that time of the year when the 'Autumn tag' is going around. Now I have never been tagged before as I've only recently just started blogging, but I was super exited when I got tagged. Now I'm super sorry that I don't actually know the girls name that tagged me but all I know is that her blog is absolutely amazing and you should defiantly go check it out and don't forget to leave a lovely comment for her! You can check that out here.
So lets get on to the tag!

Favourite thing about it? My favourite thing about autumn is probably the fashion, as all new clothing lines come out, and I hate being cold so any excuse to wrap up all cosy is a bonus for me.

Favourite drink? Hot chocolate from costa or many of the different Christmas spice flavoured coffee from Starbucks, I've also really been enjoying 'Winter spice' flavoured hot chocolate from Options. This tastes amazing! like Christmas in chocolate!

Favourite scent/candle? Now I cant say that I've actually tried that many candles as before I started reading blogs I never had an interest in them. But I do generally like warm Christmassy spice candles. My favourite at the moment is 'Blissful Autumn' By Yankee Candles.

Best lipstick? In the winter I generally go for a darker less natural lipstick, I quite like a sheer moisturising lip product as my lips get very dry! I really like the Revlon lip butters for Autumn/Winter. They are super moisturising and low maintenance. My favourite Autumn colour has to be 'Pink Truffle'. I am still in school so I prefer lip butters to a lipstick especially at school.

Go to moisturizer? I've been trying out some new moisturisers lately, they are all amazing but as Autumn is cold, well especially in the UK I've been absolutely loving Nivea's ( yes, sorry Nivea again!) soft lotion. This stuff is amazing! it is super moisturising and thick perfect Autumn/ Winter moisturiser and its high street! I must admit I am loving drugstore/high street products lately, I will do a separate blog on this moisturiser!

    My cat Moaom
Go to colours for the eyes? I've always been a 'neutrals girl' and in the colder months my eye colours don't change dramatically but I do go slightly more festive and I definitely go for warm toned colours, there is way to many to name them all but definitely have a look at the Sleek pallet 'Au Naturel'. This pallet is super pigmented and cheap! Its so good.

Favourite music or band/singer to listen to? My music choice doesn't change at all throughout the seasons, but my favourite band at the moment has to be 'BASITILLE'.

Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots and scarf combo)? UGG boots, knitted jumpers, peter pan collar shirts with leggings for a casual everyday look, I do like to change it up every year with maybe purchasing a few more winter clothing items each year (scarfs etc...)

Autumn treat? I have a slight problem in the winter I drink way too much hot chocolate and coffee, but I also go a little bit Onsie mad....

Favourite place to be? My favourite place would have to be at the park with friends, maybe going for a coffee or just shopping.

So that was my Autumn tag! Hope you all liked it!
    I will be tagging:
    Blooming Boo
    Forever Amber

    Portugal Albufeira

Warning!:This is a very photo heavy blog.
Hello everyone! Last month I went on holiday and I had been blogging about the different products I have used to unblock my skin after my holiday and thought that maybe you would want to see what it was like where I went and my experiences. This is by no means bragging just thought it would be nice for you to have a look at and maybe visit Portugal in the future.
This year I went on holiday with my friend and her family so it was a different experience. Also I suffer from anxiety so it was a huge step for me to take, I did think it was beneficial it made me feel better about myself. It was generally a nice holiday.

This was the view from our balcony, we stayed in a place called 'Pedra Dos Bicos'

We went to a water park called 'Aqua show'

Selfie alert! This is one of the only photos of me on holiday that I don't hate... Very crazy hair!

    A crafty cute idea

Hello everyone! So this is something a little bit different, a little summer time fun! (before its over) I recently started to like vintage items in clothing and household objects. I love being a little bit different to everyone else and setting trends and things I think is just really fun and you generally feel better about yourself once you have achieved something amazing. I have had this idea in my head for a while now and thought it would be a really nice gift idea for when your friends or family stay over unexpectedly with no toiletries. Yes they could borrow your beauty products but I just thought that this was a cute idea and it looks very pretty in your bathroom too!
As you can see the vintage 'Brittany' hanging on my wall...

As my dad travels quite a bit in the United Kingdom for his job he stays in a lot of different hotels, as you know I the hotels they come with soaps and shampoos. I asked him to bring me back everything that he didn't use, which was everything because he brings his own toiletries. I just collected them for a while until I thought I had enough cosmetics to fill a jar. I also purchased the small pots of moisturiser from lush to add to the jar to make it a little bit more luxurious even though they are only £1. I never feel bad about buying them because the money goes to charity and they are really cute (perfect clutch bag size) Also if you want to re-purchase the full size moisturiser you get £1 off if you hand in your empty pot!

I gathered up some shells from the beach and popped them in, to give the jar a little bit of an freshness (cleaned of corse). Found some ribbon wrapped it around the jar then tied a bow and put a cute little charm on it. This is a super cute bathroom decoration idea which is also very useful! Have a go and send me a picture of yours!

A little bit different to what I normally blog about but I thought that not sharing this with you would just be mean!
    See you all soon!
